
Emission Reduction from Tenaga Generasi Limited Grid Connected 49.5MW Wind Power Plant.
Tenaga Generasi Limited invested in a new wind power plant to generate renewable electricity to feed into the Pakistani grid. The use of wind power for electricity generation saves greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to the conventional generation mix in Pakistan. The 49.5 MW wind farm provides 126 GWh of electricity per year – a yearly saving of 80,000 tons of CO2.
Building this project:

This wind power project replaces the consumption of fossil fuels and thereby contributes to the conservation of water, soil, flora and fauna. It provides the future generations energy coming from renewable resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions occurring from extraction, processing, transportation and burning of fossil fuels.
